The New Statesman is accepting nominations for its annual New Media awards, which recognize online achievements in the UK. The awards specifically focus on applauding efforts an online engagement and advocacy, with awards for "independent information", "modernizing government", "contribution to civic society" and "accessibility".

Previous awards have gone to some of my favorite recent examples of innovative online activism, like TheyWorkForYou and Fax Your MP (now Write to Them).
