Posted by Alexandra Samuel

All those who are counting the days 'til the Democrats retake the house now have a little help. The Election Day Advent Calendar has a door for each day between October 10th and November 7th -- and will offer a companion educational guide to help you use the calendar as a tool for teaching about the electoral system.

The Calendar was created by Ben Helphand and Paul Smith of Gerrymander, a Chicago-based company specializing in political products. The educator's guide was created by Malayna Bernstein, a Ph.D candidate i the School of Education and Social Policy at Northwestern University, who is also the school's director of Graduate Teacher Education.
